2009-03-10 - Hotspot for Mac OS X published
As requested quite often by the users of our iPhone application, we have today released the first version of Hotspot for the desktop.
This version allows you to connect to german and dutch T-Mobile Hotspots as easy as the iPhone application.
We already included some nice features like SSID detection in this first version.

2009-01-20 - Hotspot works with T-Mobile Netherland
Thanks to the thorurough test of one of our dutch users (thanks Dick) we came to know that the current authentication scheme implemented for T-Mobile Germany also works for the dutch T-Mobile hotspots.
Eventhough this works out-of-the-box. The Amsterdam release will allow users to explicitly select T-Mobile (NL) as WiFi service provider.
2008-10-08 - Call for tester / developer
Currently we are working hard on FON (thanks to Jordi from FON) for input, Boingo and some local provider in different countries.
Eventhough we'd love to travel to all these places and test the app ourselves, we don't have the time for that. And btw Hotspot is free.
So, if you are using one of the a.m. Wifi ISPs or want your ISP to be integrated, contact us through Hotspot's homepage.
If you know the difference between post and get, and know how to work with live http headers then help us integrate more ISPs through Hotspots new dev page.
2008-10-03 - PoI available in the AppStore
Point of Interest was approved today by Apple. You can get it here (iTunes-Link). Have fun and enjoy.

This minor update is now ready and available through the AppStore for all Hotspot user.

2008-09-15 - Hotspot v1.01 available soon
The new version 1.01 of Hotspot is in the final QA phase.
This minor release will include some UI changes and prepares the app for multiple WiFi-ISP support.

2008-09-13 - Hotspot compatible with iPod Touch
Due to a little mistake during the upload of Hotspot we marked the application only compatible with the iPhone.
But Hotspot is compatible with Ipod Touch as well. So we corrected this little glitch.
Thanks to all users that send us feed-back and helped to narrow down the problem.

Wow, seems we satisfied a real need here. Just after being available 3 days in the AppStore the app has been downloaded more then 5000 times.
